What a lovely morning we had on the Boyd walk round Antrobus. Thank you to everyone who came along to walk and to the Christian Aid coffee morning. There is something rather fabulous about walking, talking, enjoying God's creation and then cake.Tomorrow at St Mary's there are services of Holy Communion at 8am and 10.30amWe have sung Evensong at Arley Chapel at 6.30At St Marks we have Holy Communion at 10.30ish. it may be delayed so we can cheer on the classic cars which will go past. Don't forget the big breakfast in the village hall. Following the service there will be bubbles. Mental Health Awareness Week reminds us that none of us are meant to carry life’s burdens aloneIn our churches, communities and homes, many people quietly struggle with anxiety, grief, loneliness, exhaustion, or uncertainty. As Christians, we are called to be people of compassion - listening without judging, supporting one another and reminding us that every person is deeply loved by GodJesus said“Come unto me all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens and I will give you rest“ Matthew 11.28Take time to check in with one another, speak kindly to ourselves and pray for all who are finding life difficult. This weekendTomorrow9.15 the Boyd walk sets off from St Mark’s Antrobus.10 -12.30 Coffee morning at St Marks for Christian Aid.Great Budworth school fair.SundaySt Mary’s8am Holy Communion10.30 Parish Communion2-4.30 Church Teas in Church - note change of venue6.30 Evensong at Arley ChapelSt MarksBreakfast and car run10.30 Holy Communion followed by bubbles to celebrate Geoff’s 88 birthday 6.30 Service at ChapelYou would be most welcome ...
